I love cooking these egg rolls for a side on stir fry night. It’s simple to just place them in the air fryer and focus on cooking the rest of dinner. Then we have the perfect side dish for our stir fryer dinner. My favorite dipping sauce is sweet chili sauce, but they’re great with other sauces or served plain.
You can use any brand of frozen egg rolls with this method. I used Pagoda Chicken Frozen Egg Rolls to cook in my air fryer.
Do you need to flip the egg rolls while cooking in air fryer?
You don’t have to flip or rotate the frozen egg rolls during cooking unless you’re cooking a large batch. If there is space around the egg rolls to air to flow then it will get crisp without needing to roll them over.
Although it may depend on your air fryer. If you find the egg rolls aren’t getting crisp on all sides then try rolling it over half way through cooking.

Do you need oil?
No, I don’t use any oil when air frying frozen egg rolls. I find they come out perfectly crispy with any extra oil and have no problems with sticking in the air fryer basket. Air fryers may vary so if you do notice problems with your type of air fryer, try adding some oil or cooking spray to the basket.Print
