Steak fajitas with homemade fajita seasoning

Hot and delicious steak fajitas made right in your kitchen. Steak pieces with a homemade fajita seasoning with bell pepper and onion served over tortillas with all your favorite toppings.


  • 1 lb steak pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Fajita Seasoning

  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Fajita Vegetables

  • 2 bell pepper (red, orange, yellow, or green – sliced)
  • 1 onion (medium – sliced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Fajita Topping Suggestions

  • Salsa
  • Guacamole
  • Cheese (shredded)
  • Lettuce
  • Sour Cream
  • Rice


  1. In a small bowl, mix together onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and cumin to make fajita seasoning and set aside
  2. In medium pan, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add steak pieces to pan.
  3. Stir in fajita seasoning to steak pieces and continue to cook until browned
  4. In second medium pan, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced bell pepper and onion. Cook until tender.
