This honey roasted parsnips recipe has the perfect level of sweetness for a healthy side to your meal. And it only takes 15 minutes.
- 2 lbs parsnips, peeled and cut into slices
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter
- Heat water in kettle over high heat until boiling. Add parsnips and boil for about 8-10 minutes
- Drain parsnips.
- Heat butter in pan over medium heat. Add parsnips, honey and cinnamon.
- Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes to allow glaze to thicken and parsnips to finish cooking.
